Background
Lydia first discovered Pilates during her training as
a contemporary dancer. Pilates classes were taught frequently and became an essential practice to
enhance body awareness, improve alignment, strength and flexibility.
Since finishing her MA in dance performance. Lydia has worked with Magpie Dance Company as an assistant and lead facilitator, teaching dance and Pilates classes with dancers with learning disabilities and furthermore has worked with elderly people with Parkinson’s disease and Dementia.
Lydia completed her training as a Level 3 Mat Pilates instructor and has seven years experience working with high profile clients in renowned studios across London.
She is interested in Pilates rehabilitation and improving clients' overall health and wellness. She has completed her pre/post-natal Pilates qualification and Reformer qualification with APPI.
Lydia is currently living in Bristol working in a range of different Pilates studios and physiotherapy clinics around Bristol and Bath.
